I'll be going up to Gilmer which is an hour, giver or a take a few, north of Dallas. I was wondering if any of you are from this area and have seen some mature bucks?

Looking to drop one during Thanksgiving with the family.

Gilmer is 2 hours east of Dallas. They have been killing some monsters in East Texas.

Dang, my geography was way off. hammer

But that's great to hear. Looks like I may be able to take something down over Thanksgiving.

Good luck finding Gilmer. blush Take I-20 or HWY. 80 East bout 2 hours. See what I killed under Bow Hunting--2014 10 Point. There have been some good deer taken in East Texas this year. Where you hunting near Gilmer. I'm east bout 9 miles.

It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.
