I hunt my property where I live and have a lease in Childress. I hunt in Childress on the weekends and when I get home on Sundays I take my wife or kids out to hunt. I got home last Sunday and me and my wife went to the stand and I got my first look at one of the bucks that I have seen on my camera but haven't seen them while hunting. So I have been bow hunting everyday as soon as I get kids off bus. This afternoon was slow and had only seen 2 deer when I noticed 2 deer going threw the trees. One stopped and started coming to feeder he never stopped as he walked past me. I had to stand up and lean around tree and I had him at 15yds I released and and heard a loud crack the buck just walked off and jumped the fence and started milling around and feeding. I was at a loss I went to get my arrow and noticed where my arrow had hit a limb that I didn't see when I shot. Needless to say I was at a loss. Good things is it didn't spook him. First pic is of buck I shot at this evening and the second is another buck I'm hunting.

I have had that arrow meets branch before, it is a bummer. Worked out good though IMO, not wounded, not spooked, may give you another opportunity up

Good thing is he will be back. I would cut that limb and any other one in my shooting lanes though so it won't happen a second time. Don't ask me how I know this.
