Anyone else have to replace the battery in one? How old was yours when you did?
Mine is about 3 years old, and has just started randomly not coming on. Sometimes it will, after I mess with the battery. It does this even if it's been on the charger. Don't think it's the charger, as it still has issues after being on my hubby's charger(for same style light).

Sounds about right. They're a little expensive but I love that flashlight

I usually only get 1 year from the battery, and about 6 months on the push button. I have up on that light, it was an odd size and didn't give me much light. I switched to a much smaller size with more lumens and a better beam pattern. Yes it runs off of CR123 batteries instead of rechargables, but at $2 per battery and 2 batteries every time I change it which is only about on e every 3 months I'm still coming out ahead

Yeah it's the stinger. I used one everyday for about 4 years before switching to something better. Heck, my pistol light puts out more light than the stinger did.

You must have had a bad stinger; they are one of the best in the business. I have mounted one with a IR filter on my rifle with night vision now, holding up well to heavy repeated recoil

I replaced the battery in my stinger after about 2-3 years and it worker great for almost a year. Now, it is not that bright and I assume that maybe I bought a bad battery off of Amazon? I bought a rechargeable maglite for a back up and it is now my primary.
