Just wondering what you guys have been hunting and getting any luck or not... I hunted Matagorda Bay for opening weekend and we shot a 2-man limit the first day, and a 4-man the second day. It was ridiculous, never got lucky like that in Gorda before.
Hunted the Colorado last weekend and shot a greenwing and a few wood ducks. Saw some groups of mallards fly by and that was about it.
Let me know where y'all have been slaying em.
Coastal Prairie & Matagorda Bay system. Sic'em.

the marina mallards at lake travis have been working well the last few days

Been hammerin em them on the lake x 200 yards from the park...right after then get fat and happy with on wonder bread then fly to thw other park and i intercept em...got a few "black" mallards hahaha
