Anyone have any good reviews on the M&P 15 sport .223. I've seen them a couple times at grabagun.com for around $559. Just wondering if they are pretty accurate for varmiting.

Good, reliable, basic carbine. I've had one for a couple of years with no issues. Plenty accurate for my use.

Bought my first one in 2012 - liked it enough to get another - twice. One has a scope and the others are 100% original. These are the original version with 1:8 twist Melonite lined barrels. I buy ammo in bulk so these have only seen Federal .223/55gr and Federal 5.56/62gr green tip. They shoot better than I can on the bench.
My kids and grandkids ran 13 magazines of Federal 5.56 green tip through one of them at that ranch yesterday, and got the barrel smoking hot a couple of times. Not one hiccup of any kind, as always.
I've never needed a forward assist, so I can't honestly find anything that I don't like about those little carbines.

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

My wife has one and loves it. It's scoped, but other then that all stock. She maintained a 1.5 inch group with 20 rounds from the 100. I'd buy another if I needed one.

I have an M&P15 though it's not a Sport. Have had it for about four years. Never a problem, works flawlessly, shooter.
My botnet is bigger than yours.

I've owned one for several years now and wouldn't trade it for any other. I would like a dust cover, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. The barrels are made by Thompson Center and are excellent quality. Mine has been dropped in the sand, rained on, and shot until it was too hot to hold without gloves and is still accurate enough to earhole deer and pigs out to 200 yds. Buy one, you won't regret it.
