Was at the local sportsmans yesterday grabbing a few odds and ends for my upcoming hunt in Missouri and I couldn't resist going by the gun counter. They had a savage model 12 bvss that was listed at $364. Now I'm not a savage man but the price seemed a bit low so I just went on the savage website and saw an msrp of$1000! Does savage have a high and a low end market like Mossberg or do I need to run my hiny over there and grab it before they realize the mistake?

Can you buy a gun out of state? I think they allow it for gun shows in neighboring states.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

I bet had you seen what you think you saw and would have bought it someone would have gotten fired over that transaction... if they let you buy it at all.

I don't care how ugly a gun is as long as it is accurate.

I've been threatening to put one of those in my own gunsafe, except blued instead of stainless. The 14 Classics are good looking rifles.

I have enjoyed it. Was scared it didn't shoot well at first, but it just didn't care for fusion ammo. It likes a 100 grain prohunter over 40 grains of IMR4350 tho.
