What kind of boots do people wear with their stocking foot waders? Last year I starting wearing all black Converse Chuck Taylor all star tennis shoes. I think they are awesome as they are very narrow and do not get stuck in the mud with suction. I do wish they had a little more grip on the sole.

Also I ripped a hole in my breathable waders this weekend and need to replace. Any recs?

I just wear wading boots from the fishing section designed to wear with breathables.

Beware felt boots: they will put you down on clay. Felt + clay is like walking on greased melons.
