A friend's son is signed up, heading off to basic this summer as soon as he graduates. I have promised to get him out to the range for as much trigger time as possible before then, since every Marine is a rifleman. I have a line on an AR I can borrow or buy, but would love to get a 92 FS as well.

Does anyone have a Beretta 92 in the Dallas area that they would be willing to sell for a good cause?

Thank you

American Armament in Sherman has a couple Beretta 92FS/M9 at a good price.

This place out by DFW Airport had the best price when I got mine and beat some used classified prices for new unit.

So I'm not sure if you know this but mine and im sure a lot of other soldiers prayers were answered when they switched from beretta 9mm to Colt .45 1911 in 2012.

Colt M45A1 is standard issue now. If you have a beretta for him great but if you can get your hands on a 1911 in .45 it might be closer to what he will be issued.

Congratulations to your son!

I just wish a real Colt M45A1 wasn't so crazy expensive.

Why not just rent one at the range?
