Let's keep the popcorn going. Hopefully you have some left over from T-Rex's great hunt, and congrats to him again on a great buck.

I too am here in south Kansas on my buddy's 160 and about to climb into the stand here in a couple of hours. I hunted last night and saw some young'uns pushing a few does but the high winds may have kept the big boys tight to cover until after dark. I will try to keep you guys updated throughout the next few days, but cell coverage is spotty from the stand and I'm in a really tight pinch point so I have to be Johnny-on-the-Spot with an arrow, especially if they're chasing like I'm expecting. Won't be able to be on the phone too much. I'll have my video camera with me so Lord willing, I'll get some action on digits.

Gonna be some great weather, a little windy (around 15), but the high today is only supposed to be 56 (it's 57 right now).

Below are a couple of toads we're looking for. I've promised my buddy to lay off the 12 point (which happens to be the biggest deer I've ever had on one of my TCs) if he wants him (and he does, duh), so I'm looking for the bruiser 8 in the bottom two pics, or whatever undocumented alien happens to stroll by.

This guy is an absolute stud. I'm giving that left eye guard 12 or 13 inches.

Two rattling sequences. No bites. Very odd, haven't seen the first deer.
