Hill County this morning. Hoping the full moon doesn't put a damper on movement.

The thought crossed my mind to try a sit with 3 kids, but I think I'll wait and just take one tomorrow.

Hunting in jack county. Got in the blind with about 5 minutes to spare before first light. Running behind, then had to walk 200ish yards back to the truck because I forgot my binoculars. But I'm here, and it's a beautiful morning. Bit windy, it's whipping my popup a bit, but it feels awesome.

VanZandt County representing. It's pretty bad when you have a shadow of yourself at 5:45 am. I'm afraid it's slowing their daylight movement. Yesterday morning I let a 4.5-5.5 yr old 9 walk. He was the only deer I saw and that was around 9:45-10:00. Yesterday evening I only saw one doe when Monday evening I saw 8-10.

Anyone ever hunt off a dozer? When I got down yesterday evening I glassed a field and saw a good buck cross about 500 yds away.I don't have a stand overlooking that part of the field BUT there was a dozer parked about 250 yds away. First time hunting from a catepillar for me.

I must say, this thing has got to be 30 years old and the seat ain't worth a plug nickel!

12 deer, one bruiser old ten with great mass, spread, beams, but not great tine length. 140 class perhaps. Great shooter for someone. 6.5+

I'm wondering about that too. Moon was so bright I thought you truck clock was wrong and the sun was coming up at 5:30

Lee County here. 6 does and 2 10-12 inch 6 ptrs (young bucks). They were suprisingly moving early with the bright moon. I also saw a jackrabbit this morning. Don't see those every day.

Only seen 1 this morning. Just caught the tail end up a deer going through a very small clearing. Never came back out. If I don't see anything else this morning, I'm going to dump some corn in a wooded area and sit this afternoon.
