Had planned on heading up last night or first thing this morning, but work got in the way. Was finally able to cut loose this afternoon and headed North. Drove straight out to the farm, pulled the cards and poured out some corn. Corn has been cut for almost a month, beans in the neighbors field are harvested and the bucks are starting to roam. I will be here through Sunday and then return next Wednesday or Thursday.

Only have one shooter on camera, but two of the cameras didn't work and of course, they are on the two stands that typically produce the best. 4 cameras are on trails and 1 is on a feeder. Caught this buck on all 3 cameras that are working. One is on the East side of the property, one is in the middle and one is on the West side...so he is travelling the entire creek and fields.

About to head to bed and get up in the morning to see if I can find him.

Good luck Trex, that buck has some serious mass it looks like in the photo and some cool character on the passengers side MB. Would look good on your wall no doubt. You may even catch a moby dick running around that hasn't got his mug shot taken too!!

You still slinging sticks,or using a modern firearm this time?

Been a busy morning. In the stand around 5 and 7 pointer got here about 5:30. Bright moon and he was about 10 yards away, great looking buck but he didn't stick around. Was with a doe and they headed west.

Since it has been light enough to really see, have had around 20 deer come by, most just traveling. Had a couple stop at the corn, but lots of young bucks looking for loving. Probably been half and half, bucks and doe. Had a coyote and flock of turkey wander through too.

Activity has pretty much stopped for now. Have a buck bedded about 35 yards in the creek....directly downwind. Sure wish I had a way to show it for all the scent control people, because I am stink rofl

Rumor has it pops has an arrow in a good deer about an hour north of me. Going to sit this out for awhile and see if I hear from him.
