I have become extremely interested in duck hunting and the art of calling, so if anyone has any duck calling tips or tricks I would greatly appreciate them! For example, when to call, when not to call, what kind of call to use etc. Thanks!

I've been at it for a while and I'm just now getting confident. It took a lot of practice and patience for me but one day it kinda clicked. I'm still not great but I'm getting better and if you get it in your blood you won't be able to put it down. I find myself grabbing my call all the time.
This question get asked a lot and I think people get tired of typing the same thing over and over.
Here is link with some good info

Biggest thing, watch & listen to ducks. If you have a city pond thst has a bunch of ducks in it, watch & listen for a few hours. When you're in the blind, watch how they respond to your call. Sometimes they wanna talk, sometimes they don't. If they're obviously flaring at your call & you know it sounds good, get off it. If they are coming towards you & you can hear em talking, try to imitate exactly what they're doing, down to the cadence of their quacks. If they're 500 yards away & not paying any attention to ya, blast away. What's the worst that can happen?
Cigarettes are like hamsters. Perfectly harmless til you put it in your mouth & light it on fire
