Is the rumor true that the bucks are bigger in South Texas, yes! Let me tell you, I am merely a weekend hunter that does not feed year around and hunt down in Carrizo Springs, each year when I fill feeders the big boys automatically start showing up. every year we kill easily 3-5 150-160 class deer. Not to mention the infestation of turkey, javs, hogs, coyotes, and bobcats. God I love South TX!

The one pictured above is a hell of a buck, but like Landpirate said, don't think your gonna drive on down to south texas and there will be one like that or even close on every lease.

Not talking about myself, I have a great lease, which cost more than that, but seriously someone should take you up on that. If they could kill that 9 and a doe, no expense on corn,feeders,stands etc. for 2k that is not bad at all. I think it is a good offer!
