Fun 1st week in Windthorst. The kids shot a doe and a jacked up spike. The grownups are seeing some mature ones on camera. A real windy opening weekend kept us from seeing much in daylight hours. And some chasing activity has begun. Next few weeks should be interesting. Any other reports from the areas around Clay/Archer counties?

Hey Boomstick sounds about right for us on the deer activity. We are right down the road from you in Loving.

Small bucks are pushing a little in clay county.

Saw a young buck chasing a couple young does in Vashti this weekend. A few young deer on camera but nothing to write home about.
