This main frame 10 has a 3 inch kicker off one of the back tines. It's hard to keep passing this buck for the last 2 years when you are on a small place, but I did and Opening morning, it paid off for this old guy.

Thank you, this is my first post and I just had to find a place where I could show my buck off. None of my friends understand how the mind of the hunter works. I spend 1000's of hours in preparing food plot, etc. Harvesting him was just gravy on my time spend outdoors.

That's incredible. It's tough to watch a buck like that grow even on a large ranch -- congratulations!

Yes, his brow tines are what made me think, "I'm not passing him this year." Plus I have never killed a buck with a Kicker point before. I turned 65 five days before this. A great birthday present to myself I thought.

Yes, this is the first buck I've taken off my own land. It was (is) a great feeling. Being a teacher, I had to stretch as far as I could just to be able to get 50 acres. But it's been worth it. However, watching it jump the fence and walk away from my place every day was truly nerve-racking for two years.

Congrats on a great trophy sir. He will make a beautiful mount for sure, and welcome to THF. As is true with most things in life you will find a lot of great folks here and a few knuckleheads clap. Baker

OBTW. I love those dark horns. Makes him look just that much better.
