I am taking my teenage son to Great Bend, KS next weekend for his first pheasant hunt. I usually just hunt WIHA up there and know how hit or miss that can be. I was wondering if anyone on here has used a guide/outfitter in the Great Bend area they would recommend.

Thanks

I've had several good hunts for pheasant and quail with Justin Hammond from Larned.

No idea on outfitters up there but all of my family lives in hosington just north of there and I have grown up hunting pheasant up there all my life with my uncle and dad's friends from the area as most of the land owners will let you hunt their land. Sure wish I could make it up there soon.

Good luck. cheers

Walter
