We've had rain since yesterday morning at approximately 9:00. I saw one nice buck before the wind shifted to the north. Been hunting most of the day, today, in a blind, in the rain. Saw 4 crows and about 20 squirrels. That's it. Strange. I thought they'd be moving in the drizzle. We got close to 2" total.

Farm log is not reliable for me. It is showing .10 in of rain for the last 10 days and I've had 2". If you think about how can they measure the rain that I have in a twenty acre food plot. They are using the same weather resouces we are...but they don't have a rain guage on my field. Wunderground is about as accurate as it gets. Find a weather station near your location.

Touch over 3" in my part of Menard/McCulloch. Including the .6" yesterday. Should really get the wheat to going well.

I have had a ,40" difference from my neighbors gauge (same type). it happens I have 2 of the same exact rain gauges(11" ClearVu) on my place about a mile apart. They never have the exact same rainfall amount. Majority of the time the one to the north of my house will show more rain. I go by them for my records but like to have something to view(FarmLogs) my other place's rainfall since it is 45 miles away. I don't want to run over to do some work if it is to wet.

My electronic weather station says 4.23 (Oak Point). Y'all have us beat here in Bellville...we received just under the 4" mark over a steady 36 hour rainfall. Soaked in nice and good, but it didn't do much for the stock tanks it's down to just a light drizzle every now an then, but trees have started falling. The electricity went out this morning and the lady at the co-op said that they're working on it but don't have any clue when it'll be back on
I will get off in a little bit You shouldnt have said that

Bandera County, Pipe Creek area Front gauge shows 3.7 inches back gauge shows 5.1 inches. The gauges are about 1 1/4 miles apart different type gauges but both certified according to package they came in. The back end of ranch always seems to get more! This is a 2 day total

I 1st thought you meant the cocorahs was a bad report. (possible too, but unlikely). That .04 would only be accurate for that one spot and tallying rain area totals to apply to drought conditions in various areas too.

Farmlog shows 2.52" for me for this past 8 days. I showed 2.07" the past 2 days and .27" last Friday at my house gauge in that time period for a 2.34" Total. The gauge 1 mile to the north showed 2.17" the past 2 days and .25" last Friday for a 2.42" total for 8 days. Farmlogs is not 100% the same as my gauge, but again I don't add in rainfall amounts under 1/10" either to my totals.
