Load it with some 230 gr. Berger VLDs on top of Retumbo, and bring it when you come out. We'll hit steel with the 6.5 x 55 then we'll hit it with that. That will really swing the steel mucho harder-o!

And I'll make sure and have my welding rig there in case you break my target stands

Nice! The 208's will do very good, and is one of the best bullets for the 300 WM. The 230's will do even better! They will hit so hard, and buck the wind very well. I run the Hornady 225's in my 300 WM, and I really like those bullets. I'm running a 1:11" twist, so I don't know if the 230's will work or not. It's a longer bullet than the 225's.

Got some 230's on the way to try.. be nice to see a hog and see what damage they do

Glass for the 300.. That question give me a headache..only because I've been fighting with this for weeks.. ( over think stuff)
I know the benefits of ffp.. Since it will be a hunting rig thought about buying another hd5. Looked a nf and my budget and bank went to hell buying the 300 win mag and reloading supplies .. So that answer is still floating in the air haunting me! Lol

Looks awesome Daniel, just get you a YHM Phantom QD. They're magnum rated and you can get the brake QD to put on can probably find the SS model for around 900 with tax stamp or the Ti model for a bit more.
