Good luck. I enjoy hunting in the rain. Can't say I have done that much better than other days, but sure feels like I do up

I also went this morning, rain started about 7am, saw one spike. I knew they would want to get out this evening, even though we have had just at 2" of rain. Went out at 4:45pm and started seeing deer at 5:06. Most deer I have seen in my plot and feeder since Saturday. Had 10 in, small bucks chasing, let one 9 shooter go. The 9 just crosed the food plot at a quick walk.

When the rain got heavier, some of the deer went just in the tree line and went for acorns, but over all the rain didnt seem to bother them at all.

I went. Missed a hog at about 175 yards. No big deal, that would have been my longest kill. Didn't worry about it. Then missed the biggest buck of my life at about 70 yards. Going to the range Friday. And I'm hoping my scope is way off. The scope ring screws were lose on my primary rifle, so I grabbed my backup that I havnt sighted in in a couple of years. Gunna get them both zeroed and hope he comes back.

Was going this afternoon but it's a muddy mess here. 2" so far and still lightly raining. I'll hit it hard in the morning.

Really don't think so. Had a steady rest, good squeeze. But I did have to move quick. He was headed into the brush. He stopped for a second and I shot. But I was shooting for a neck shot aince he was pretty close. I probably would have hit him if I shot him in the shoulder. I was trying to drop him because my feeder is on the property line and I don't know the neighbors.

I was out this morning with the wind out of the south and drizzly. Saw a beautiful 9 point, tongue out with upper lip curl and he was moving fast. This evening saw nada.

That would put the scope Waay off then. Those line feeders can sure get complicated too! Brrn allot of threads about that here. Hope you figure it out, he will likely be back in no time.

Got up a 5 and it was pouring, went back to bed. If it was misting or drizzling different story..

I shot my best buck ever hunting in the rain. It was light rain just like today. Wish I was not going to work today.

I'm here in Hood Co this morning still light rain but we only get so many days to kill a buck besides I took this week off to hunt and so far I've had to miss a couple days due to my dad's hospital visits and no one being avaliable to pick up or drop off my girls at school and it drives me insane if I miss a day of deer season.

Went and sighted it in Today. 4 inches high 3 inches to the right at 100. Far enough off.
