This light front this week up north could bring us some birds by late this weekend. Hope so.

Funny how every year we go through this but the bottom line is we aren't going to see any big push of birds until the split, at best and probably around Christmas more realistic.

Funny how people always think that way every year, keep thinking the big push will not be till Christmas. There was a huge push of birds Friday night but they just passed through Saturday and Sunday but was a sight to see Saturday morning I can assure you. You have to find them though, they will not be spread out everywhere. She the kill photos posted last weekend, people that found them were covered and the ones that did not, did not see many. Just part of hunting, when it gets easy everyone will be posting the carnage including the guides which by the way have not posted much of anything in North Texas.

My selfish thought is that they stop in Southern South Dakota for a while. That is where I'll be in a couple days.

So y'all are saying there are just as many birds here as there are at Christmas or New Years? I didn't say you couldn't kill birds right now...point is we are closer to the end of the migration than the beginning and we aren't going to see big numbers of birds until later in the season. That is a fact and you can argue all you want but your wrong...the big numbers of birds get here later, you know when it's easy Good luck TXPride...smack'em!

Calm down there Killer, nobody said anything other than you saying we will not get a "big push" of birds till later in the season. All I am saying is that we will see big pushes way before the split, just saw one last weekend and there will be more before the split, there always is. Just look at Brozasboyt post, he saw nothing Friday and killed 4 limits Saturday, it's how migratory birds work. I found about 300-400 ducks in areas Friday but Saturday saw well over 1500, just how things work. I hope most people wait till the split to hunt though.

Thousands of teal down here, blue and green wing, I think they skipped y'all. Looked like mosquitoes on Saturday morning.

Where teal at? We were covered with greenwing teal over the weekend in north Texas, more than I have seen since the last two weeks of season last year, they may have just been a little east of you. Sit and watched group after group land in our decoys for 2.5 hours. Even got some video.

I'm with Judy on this one...there is a differance between finding birds to kill and "the big" push.
Attention rickym, this is not a troll post, just a good hearted fun type of post

What do y'all define as a "big push"? I define it as one ruddy duck swimming around in the decoys.
