Lol I can always count on u stx for a good laugh. Sry for the lack of updates that morning. I forgot my phone. I saw 7 does and a young probably barely legal buck. I hope it's a good sign of things to come. Will get to hunt Friday evening and Saturday morning then 3 days the following weekend. Looking forward to the first week in December when the rut should be in full swing I hope that young 8's grandpa comes to visit me.

Alright alright!!! Got back to the ranch bout 140 and set up a new blind (old one broke/ripped) spread extra corn since they ate every kernel from this AM and cracked a shiner bock. No reason to go back to the house I'm in this new spacious blind got the Tinks 69 out (not a big believer in that but my buddy said try it so I'm giving it a go.

Cooling down nicely feeder goes off at 5 but have extra corn already out. Very anxious to see what comes out. I do see some dove and quail hanging out eating the corn I threw out.

What pics bro. There's nothing except a nubn buck that seems to be hated by every other deer since he is the lone deer for tonight. Kinda shocked. At least he won't be here in the AM after eating a ton of corn that fatty patty will stay in bed tmr

Feeder went off at 6 for some reason still don't have enough light. The feeder was set to 630 so not sure why it went off early. I put extra corn out so hopefully there's enough to keep em around till I can c in bout 10 min or so.

I believe nubby is back since it's the only deer here.

Any fog? Is the rut on over there?

Uneventful morning just nubby again. Not sure where the deer are. Ever since the landowner shot the 8 pt last week I have only seen nubby who wasn't there when the 8 got shot. The 6 pt and 5 does haven't come back. Hope things get better but I'm nervous as can be that this spot is not going to pan out.

Back at it. I called in reinforcements! My best friend since 5th grade is in the blind tonight. We have never hunted and not made a good kill. It's hot though and I don't like that part. Shiner Bock the 308 my grandpa gave me and Michael. Deer or no deer it's gonna be a good night.
