.....and then I woke up

GOTCHA loser8

Saw bunch of deer this weekend (several bucks), but didn't fire a shot. They must know I'm a good guy cause when I opened the door to the trailer there was 2 small doe bedded down in some oak brush 25 yards away. Headed home shortly.

That's the same thing I saw...in my hand that I was dealt while playing cards grin

I didn't see any bucks, but was blessed to watch 2 sets of twin fawns with their mothers, a small spike, and multiple does feeding for a good while throughout the weekend. For the first time ever, I didn't feel any disappointment at not seeing a shooter buck...we did have a couple of nice ones killed by fellow lease members, a beautiful 11 point and a pretty high and tight 8 point. I was just glad to be out on a cold crisp opening weekend and be surrounded by Gods handiwork cheers

Hunted all weekend never saw a deer, I could hear em walking on the crunchy ground and heard a buck give
a low muffled grunt. But they came in the backside and never got a peek at any. Damn brush to thick to see thru from ground blind behind me.

That's what happens when you're not mad at the deer anymore! I do a lot more looking/seeing than shooting these days myself...... up
