Conditions were much better, but Reds and wigeons moved out. Still fun day.

If it flies it dies. We made fajitas afterwards and they taste just fine with some hot sauce. 2 teal as well, they tasted better.

today was my best day yet of the three. 1 shy of a 2 man. That spoonie is really ahead of the game already!
Arise.Kill.Eat -Acts 10:13 I have read a bunch of stuff on the internet about Star Wars but that does not mean I can skin a deer with a light saber.

Sunday? My Club, at least those who went, shot 1 short of their limit. That's 29 birds between 5 guys. Nice ducks BTW.

I scouted for a few weeks prior to the opener and saw lots of birds- now, only coots and a few divers survived the weekend madness. Hopefully this supposed rain we're gonna get will change the dynamic a little.
Wasn't born in Texas, but I got there as fast as I could.

Most birds we saw sat were reds and wigeons. Sunday they where all gone to the coast. They used our lakes to rest, not to feed, therefor very skiddish and kept on circling without landing. We need more solid fronts. Sat will be another mini front
