I agreed to accompany the misses to the stepkid's football game for parents night some 3-1/2 hours away. I fulfilled my obligation even though the last two days have been nothing but a sore throat, itchy eye, headaches, and yes, the die area. Tonight was nothing short of painful in the way childbirth must be.. It is now after 1:00am and I am about to turn in before waking in the morning to attend my 6 year old's soccer game. Then it will be a mad rush to get everything together and off to the land of the pines with him in tow for what will maybe be a couple of hours in the stand whom both cameras quit working 3 weeks ago. Still, I can't wipe this smile off my face. Or his.  So worth it, my favorite day of the year is at hand

Smart man. Gotta enough gadgets there to keep a ferret on cappuccino occupied. Now, could you please do something about my dogs that are about 400 yards away and want to know why they're not in the blind with me?

(Great looking kid you got there. Must look like his mother. ) That kid just turned 6 in August and he sat in that stand with me for over 5 hours today. And he's asked to back with me tomorrow. Now, there is enough sweets in my stand to open a mall kiosk and enough power to run that Ipad for a week. Why wouldn't he want to go hunting? And no, he looks like me. Ugly didn't happen until High School.
