Terrain: The Ascher Vernon Camp is a complete turnkey recreational getaway.
It offers outstanding lodging, hunting, wildlife viewing, outdoor activities, and a
great camp area. The location is very private and secluded. There is minimal disturbance. The ranch features multiple types of vegetation including large shelter belts with a large variety of hardwoods, chinaberry motts, hackberry thickets, shinnery oak, mesquite, lots of underbrush, and lots of grasses. These large groups of trees and thicket areas are game highways. It is incredible how much wildlife travels throughout this property. The game is free to roam with minimal visibility.

Irrigated alfalfa, wheat, and other crops are grown on the neighboring farms. These crops are a main food source and attract wildlife from the areas to the south. The ranch is a major corridor for the game heading to those crops. Winter wheat is grown on the 60 acre cultivated area, but food plots can be grown along the edge of the field. There are two wells available for irrigation of food plots. One is capped.
