I noticed the pictures don't show the face!

This is what that buck I posted the pics looked like in late November the year before those 2 pics. Those 2 pics were in Oct, so under 1 yr. His "sack" was full of his intestines when he was finally killed right before Christmas. He was not in good shape at all and would not have made the winter. He was still rutting and chasing does up till mid Dec.
