my son shoots one. it is a good bow, very adjustable. I will say the sights on it are ok, nothing fancy but they work. The rest is a different story, will be replacing that with a better rest (drop away most likely) this winter after season. He has had two arrows where the same fletching came off, I have to assume it was from the rest rubbing the fletchings funny.
He has gone from about 25# draw when he started up to about 45# now, and while he has gone through early puberty changes, he has gotten consistently better with it, and at 13, the bow fits him quite well right now.

Good little bow. Know of 4 that went to Africa as backup bows and one elk in Colorado that The hunter was looking for a lighter weight bow for hitting the mountain with.
the edge also makes for a very good fishing bow in the infinity setting. The rest and sight do leave a lot to be desired though like on many RTH packages

Watch Cabelas during the holidays. Last year there was up to $100 Cabelas bucks back on them. At that they did sell out quick.

What is wrong with them?

What is wrong with them? The bristles in the brushes wear out quickly and have seen some that the brushes were way off being equal on all 3 sides. The sights are not very bright and adjustment is more of a guess and move, it is also plastic for housing, the main metal parts are the screws.

I guess I will have to get better ones.

I got my son one a couple of years ago and he killed his 1st deer with it this fall. It is made by Bowtech. I have the Cabela's Instigator which is also made by Bowtech. The main frame is the same, different components.
I will agree on the rest and sight comment. They are good to get started, but I changed out the rest to a wisker biscuit earlier this year and it made a big difference. I will change out my son's over the holidays. Also, we are both getting new sights with built in lights for Christmas. There is no good way to attach a light to the existing sights.
Other than that, they are a really good starter bow and very adjustable for draw and weight.
