There are somewhere around 19 to 22 pigs in this picture, depends on who is counting. From my brother's place in Stephens County.



This is the second appearance of a porcupine on the same place. People around there say they see one at about 10 year intervals.

About 3 weeks ago we went to Silverton, saw more dead porcupines on the way that I have seen in the last 20 years.

Time to go hog hunting!!!

porcupines are probably in the rut….i hear, you can get good money for the long hairs, over 7 inches long off the porcupines. The 'Artists' use them for their paintbrushes as well as high end hollywood makeup folks.
