So this will be my first season hunting out of a boat.
I've had boat now for a week or so and she's almost finished.
My question. What do y'all always have in your boat when going hunting.
My list so far is all the basic stuff fire ext, life jackets, and the rest of the other stuff to be legal.
I've got a medical kit for my 4legged partner and a jacket.
Decoys, flappy wings, basic tools I know theirs plenty I'm forgetting, but anything out of the ordinary that might have saved y'all a time or two?
Thanks!!

Gas! We towed a hunter in last weekend that forgot to put gas in the tank.

Toilet paper. If you got that, you are good to roll.

TP, extra light, extra gas, and some drinking water.

Spare prop, nut, and pin doesn't hurt either.

Most stuff has been covered except for snacks, I also take a small portable blow torch to thaw things like throttle cables, trim solenoids, and anything else that decides to freeze up. Handwarmers, extra lights, facemask, and facepaint for the people that forget their facemask.

Extra drain plug, spot light and spare spot light, change of clothes just in case and don't forget the toilet paper.

That's a good one! I'm not ADD or OCD or whatever, but I have 2 extras. I have needed two extras once while scouting the middle of nowhere and didn't have a backup to the backup. Fun trip.

For the plug, I have one with the flip lever that has rope tied to the loop and the other end is tied around my floor stringer, it can never be misplaced, I also carry a backup but never needed it.

Looks like you have a good list of items to have int he boat at all times.

For the hunting piece, I'd highly recommend going with rigging the decoys with the Texas Rig and adding this to the boat Drake Stand Up Decoy Bag <---- click

Makes putting out and picking up the decoys a breeze.
