Wow. Glad you are recovering. Was playing with a rattler last week and my buddies were freaking out because they were afraid I would get bit so far from a hospital.

They say rattle snakes are a lot worse. They say all snake bites usually pose a risk of loss of life or a limb. I have killed a lot of snakes this year but this one was sitting on top of a round bale on a trailer that had just been hauled 15 miles.

Mechanized snake infantry... dang, that's crazy. Glad you're getting better. Could have been a lot worse. Dated a woman who was an ER nurse, for a while. She said that there would be numerous stretches when they'd get in several snake bites a shift. I guess it's a more common occurrence than most people realize, her in Texas. Ouch! How long did it take to get to the hospital? Did it hurt as much as I have heard they hurt? Glad you are on the road to recovery. How long before you are back to normal?
