finally got loads made up and took the 6.5x47 lapua to the range, made up with 2 different bullet with 6 different loads, new barrel, 100yds... the last three shots

Keep tweaking... they'll get even smaller. ^^^ This. The 6.5x47 is stupid accurate. It's the only case I have ever done load development where all the groups looked the same. I tested my loads at 300 yards, and all were 1" or smaller. I took the best load that had the lowest velocity extreme spread, which was 6 or 7 fps. That's ES not SD!
