I'm going friday afternoon. I hope by that time all of the public land hunters will have pushed the elk off the mountain and into our valley. That is prediction, so I hope it plays out. The ranch manager usually takes me up into the public land on horseback, but his wife just had a baby two weeks ago. Looks like it's gonna be all private land this weekend. We've been seeing a couple elk with some nice whale tails but who knows if they'll still be there since that was two weeks ago.

Yes it would.

Creekrunner is on his way. The three of us will head out Friday morning. Then Ringworm will catch up with us after that.

Just think, some day you'll have a job like me that lets you work when you want so you can hunt when you want.

Good luck to your crew Sneaky, you've got a lot of folks pulling for you. Y'all will have to start a new thread, there is no way I can wade through the ~100 pages on the other.

You have killed more animals this hunting season than I've killed in 32 yrs. You got it rough.
