A dream hunt for me would be a elk hunt that included horses. Has anyone here done that? Outfitters?

Elkhorn Outfitters out of Craig Colorado. Now it wasn't really a back country pack hunt as we returned to the lodge everyday for a hot meal and bed......but we did use horses daily.
High fence, low fence, no fence, offense, defense.....whatever

Congrats! This is how I hunted elk in Utah. Fun Fun! You can get closer to elk on horseback than you can stalking them.

I struggle with this type of hunt or hunting a Texas elk. What do you think?

Medicine Lake Outfitters Montana. I've hunted with them twice, out of Bozeman, between the Madison and Gallatin rivers. Of course there's no guarantee, but I killed a decent 6X6 each time. True back country hunt.
