In November you're gonna primarily only shoot specks. Snows don't really start showing until later November down here.

My advice is if you want to shoot snow geese, go somewhere outside of texas. If you want to shoot more than 2 specks, go up to the panhandle and shoot lessers
I'm with GK because I like salty old dudes.

I've got a vendor that's been taking us down there for the last 6-7 yrs. Neat little old house and fire pit area. Terry does a good job w/guiding (or some of his other guides) and Curtis (the cook) has great breakfast/lunch/dinner. It's gotten slower over the last few years w/ducks and geese, but still a lot of fun. Terry let me bring my young pup down and Jack did great on his first layout goose hunt. This was last year Dec...

I do a hunt with them every year. A buddy of mine is one of their guides and we go just for the hell of it. Always have a great time with them. And if you get to hunt with Terry, then get ready to laugh your @$$ off

A few buddies are scheduled to go down on the 22 and 23 of nov they invited me to fill a spot... hopfully some snows will be down! I haven't found one bad review on them, and for me its not always about killing limits anymore, more about the experience. I'd like to get a nice spec and maybe a snow if I get a nice one for the wall. Im 0/3 on my guided hunts in the past, hopfully I can turn it around here. Next years trip is already in the makes for the panhandle!

heading that way tomorrow, wish me luck! There's good numbers here. If you are in the right field, and the weather stays nasty, you'll do just fine.
