The Ground Hugger from west Texas game feeders in San Angelo is the best, totally varmint proof, hogs can't turn it over. I've had Auodad and red stag bulls try to turn it over and had no success. All the electronics mount inside and solar panel mints on top. By far the best feeder on the market. IMO

I noticed the All Seasons stand and fill feeder does not throw as much corn as other feeders I have had, but it does throw far. Those with this feeder what run time do you set it at?

I run All Seasons stand and fill 4 seconds for each feeding (twice in the morning and twice in the evening) each feeding throws about 1.5 pounds of corn.

Most important part is the motor unit. Make sure it is HCR or All Seasons and you won't have problems. I do have some of the cheapo Remingtons with the digital timers and haven't had problems with them either but not built as sturdy as the others I mentioned.

Hanging feeders are nice but I actually like trip-pods better that you can drive up to, hop in the back of your truck and dump the corn in.
