Here, I'll start. Got my first gator today at JD Murfree WMA. Not a monster but I'm happy.

Nice gator. I see at least one pair of boots there. Maybe a purse for the missus.

Dinner for two, cooked over an open fire in the jalapeno/cream cheese/bacon concoction. First rabbit I have eaten in a few years. Shot while scouting for teal.

Got this doe at Balcones yesterday. Deer hunting without corn is a lot harder!

I don't hunt over corn, and if you have the same piece of land to hunt every year it is fun to gradually figure out the property and where to set up taking the prevailing wind into account. I'm also a brown its down hunter who wants a couple of deer a season for venison. I will say if I happened to see two bucks together, I'd let the larger one pass unless it was my all-time best. With that in mind, here's two I took near Boerne, off my sister's place:

Both of these were shot at about 40 yards with a .300 WM 150 grain downloaded to 2650 fps. The doe was almost facing me and dropped on the spot but was struggling to get up, so I gave her a second shot. The little buck ran 30 yards after a perfect behind-the-shoulder shot.

Oops. Looks like I posted this in the wrong forum, but I'll leave it.

Nice Doe!! Its not hunting. It is target practice when you hunt over bait.

Great thread. I shot about a dozen rabbits on public land this season; here's one I got with my old .410:

And I posted about these guys in the drawn hunt thread below:
