apologies if this has been posted already. This video of a guy who wanted to run the deer out of his yard or garden and wanted to see how they reacted to a drone flying over them. what they did and didn't do, just amazed me.

Neat video, thanks for sharing! I am really surprised the deer didn't haul arse, especially when the drone seemed to get in fairly close.

Maybe the deer thought it was a big bug, and it looked like they got the drone pretty close too.

Never having seen a drone they did not know what it was. They probably thought it was a bird of some type.

They are used to the UFOs.... the way they react is kind of curious you would expect the run away response probably why big foot can get food, they just stand there and look at him while he is moving in

Why would you live there and try to run deer off, and that guy sucked at running the camera on that thing

They were raiding his gardens and he didn't want to kill them (or couldn't). Just because you live somewhere doesn't mean you want deer or other wildlife ruining your stuff, LOL.

Whod a thunk it? Its hard to tell but it appeared that the drone was down almost eye level at one point. Amazing.

Put a small human figure on the drone like a GI Joe or something and see what happens.

Do you think a drone could be used to apprehend trespassers? You could follow them back to their vehicle and get their license plate number.

I know some black, unmarked F-16s came in hot and low over my feeder and blind north of Sanderson a couple of years ago; it scared the crap out of the deer under the feeder (and me).

I've thought about using one to check other feeders when I'm the only one hunting. I figure it's the same as a live camera feed. I could sit in my blind which is between 2 others, fly the quad copter over the others just to see if I'm missing anything.

I would love to have one to screw with my brother when he is hunting. But the he would probably just shoot it down to get a good laugh.

Just bought one from Sportsman Guide, received yesterday need to learn how to fly and what type of noise it makes. Has built in camera, good for 150 yds. They say. Wish it would do direct feed to phone or IPad.

My question is......why the hell does he live in the woods if he does not want deer and / or wildlife in his yard?
