I did a search several different ways and didn't come up with anything. I am wanting to build a rack for my pickup and looking for some ideas. I don't want some huge monstrosity just something for two people to get up a little higher. I would like to see pictures of what you have.

if there is some already posted please direct me to them.

Thanks,

Thanks Ramball36.

Another question. I was thinking about just sitting a platform on the bed rails. Is that a bad idea?

Makes me wish I could weld. How much would one of those cost?

ok looked at these for YEARS... and I've ALWAYS thought... Man wish I could weld... But I have been looking and I think I can build one with wood piece of cake, custom build to a truck bed. Idk if pricewise where you'd be at but I def think it is a real option. Anybody ever done it?

We threw a small one together a couple years ago before we got a Suburban with a rack on top. It worked fine for two people. Didn't cost much since I had the 2x4s already.

My hunting rig, it is pretty tall and rock solid. I prefer my lights set up under my gun rest. Very deadly rig. The base rests on the bed.

This is one I threw together in a few hours. Still have some things to add.
