Was out yesterday to camp and new Zodi portable warm shower is just about ready for my guests on their 2014 fall black bear hunt. Will have 55 gallons of rain water and a back up portable shower bag which I am hoping will give an extra boost of hot water. All that is left is to level the ground for the shower base and put up the shower curtains.

Had a lot of help with finalizing the shower but it is all done. Soap and shampoo shelve, towel hook, clothes hook, not all shower curtains are installed but I am sure you get the drift (and no, once all are installed, you can't see through them....hahahahaha, bench for changing, and 55 gallons of water. What an awesome set up. Thanks to my 2 young friends for helping me finally git er dun....

Man, your hunters are going to get soft if you spoil them like that.

Lookin good

Ours doesn't have curtains or a water heater. But when its in the 40-50's that 70+ degree well water sure feels like hot water... till you turn it off!

you could also run a series of pvc or black tubing (your choice of size)on the roof and have a real good supply of hot water.

Great comments and thanks everyone, I like the idea with the PVC pipe, that way could gravity feed the water....maybe next year cheers

Just wanted to let everyone know, the Zodi Portable shower was a huge hit with all my hunters. It worked perfect and no hitches at all. I read a lot of bad reviews but I have a feeling the people who wrote them either did not follow the instructions properly or were expecting a fast flow shower like at home. It is imperative you have the water flowing through the unit before you start the heater which is very clear in the instructions. It worked fabulous for us at bear camp this year grin

Here is the temporary one I built at our cabin. 275 gallon water tote. Hot water on demand from a 110 volt Ariston heater and added a 800 gph Tsumani bilge pump powered by a 12 volt deer feeder battery with a solar charger attached. Can shower, shave and wash dishes with very hot water. Temporary cuz I got a guy building me metal stand. The wood frame will be used to build another deer stand.

I would just be careful about having one of those plastic 55 gallon drums near camp. You're gonna have a stupid bear think there's bait in it then one of your hunters will end up getting mauled while they're azz naked in the shower. scared
