OK, So I bought a quad pod 4 years ago. It had a camo canvas covering from the manufacturer that lasted 2 years. Last year it tore so I just covered with some camo burlap and a camo tarp. That did not last a year. I did not want to cover it with metal because of heat, did not want to cover it with wood but too heavy to lift. I hunt by myself most of the time. So here it is in process. Ordered some vinyl siding from Lowes. Finished with sliding windows.

Nice to be out of the weather but now tie it down good 'cause it's gonna catch more wind!

Nice to be out of the weather but now tie it down good 'cause it's gonna catch more wind! I agree with the "sail effect" but sure like it.

Don't know yet, just covered it this weekend. I am sure the wind will effect it but probably not any different than when it was covered with canvas. I purposefully put in front of some of some live Oaks. The trees will buffer it from the south wind and should keep it upright but probably still need to tie it down.
