After doing more research I think I'm going to use the E-Z Brackets with 4x4's to up right my Blind. This is a more straightforward and simpler approach.

I use 3 ea 4x4's to span the scaffolding then use galvanized strapping (like that used to hang A/c ducting) and deck screws. Screw the strapping to the wood, wrap around the scaffold then screw to the wood on the other side. Can cut to whatever length you need and it has lots of holes so mounting is easy. I've used this for years on 4x6 blinds and have never had one come loose (even rode out a couple of hurricanes in east Texas). It's cheap and easy to find too. I was going to recommend the galvanized straps too, yep yep.

Brian, I used Elevator Brackets with 4x4 posts. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Elevators-4-in-x-4-in-Double-Angle-Brackets-Set-of-4-E188/202560097Here's what my stand looked like up. The last step was to use twist-in ground anchors from screw eyes in the corners of the base to the ground under the stand, tightened with nylon tie-downs. To upload your picture, pick the icon that looks like a diskette, with a blue arrow pointing up. Click on "Browse" to find your picture. When you have selected in the Windows browse box, click on open. Nothing changes in the upload screen, but click on "Add this File" anyway. There will be a progress bar to the right of the button. Once the upload is done, your picture should show on screen. Click the "Save all images" button. Your post will return, with a line that points to the uploaded copy of the picture, saved in a forum picture gallery. Edited to add: If you are doing the above steps, but the picture isn't loading-- I don't have a clue. Maybe one of the moderators will chime in.

Brian, I've seen a stand that looks a lot like that! Did you have any particular problems? What brand are the leg brackets?

The brackets are E-Z Brackets.

The EZ-Bracket ability to fit under any rectangular box make them a pretty good deal. My elevator brackets work "best" with 2x6 framing around the edge of the box. They did work with my 2x4 frame, but took a little work.

This is the finished product.Everything went almost ok,but for the water damage already. The rain water has already started to warp the wood. The inside is still good, but outside is buckling.

Did you use exterior grade plywood? That exterior surface really shouldn't be delaminating so quickly. It looks like (from the photo on 6/18) that the paint may have caused some surface buckling, or the surface of the plywood was already loose. Looks pretty good in the woods, despite the surface. With those anchors you should be able to handle major winds!

I thought I bought exterior plywood.I went to Home Depot and bought 3/8" Plywood, but what i'm going to do is by some Smartside Siding and put over those buckling spots. It comes in 4x8 sheets,so i will just cut one sheet in half and put on the sides where it is buckling.
