Believe me guys, This deer is way way bigger in person. He lossed alot of trash from last year so probably will end up in the 290-305 range, But You just can't be a Good looking deer like this. SCORE MEANS NOTHING when you have the look!

Kind of cool. Might be an interesting trophy but I'd be more worried about letting him spread those genetics into the rest of the herd.

Don't take this the wrong way. I understand the hole big antler thang, but the high fence world is getting out of control. Im seeing bucks in the high fence world that don't even look natural and are not practical in the real whitetail world. Kinda wonder if anybody is ever going draw the line on all this breeding and trying to produce unrealistic looking whitetails. Ive killed over 80 free range whitetail bucks in my hunting career and I can promise you that Ive never seen anything over 200 inches and don't know if I ever will. I can promise you one thing. Ive got enough respect for the deer to know that Ill never hunt high fence. I have killed several bucks that score over 160 and they were all hard fought. Ive herd of these trophy hunts and I know better than to call it a hunt when it takes less time than most hunters would consider it any kind of challenge. Somebody in the state needs to ball up and ban this pet deer stuff, but they probably hunt the same way. Hey like I said don't take it personal, because what I, the real hunter have to say doesn't count and will never be worth more than some franklins in somebodys pocket.

And here are his velvet cut offs. His smallest tine was still almost as thick as a pop can.
He was just shy of 30" inside, 14,16 inch tines. Was 386" this year! To be the Top Hunting Ranch in the world,

If any of you guys saw that deer under your feeder, you couldn't pull the trigger fast enough, or post pictures fast enough.

That is the truth. If i saw that deer I think my heart would stop. I definitely wouldn't pass on it. But the antlers do look weird, beyong non-typical. They look artificially grown, like by injections of hormones or something. That is just insane.

No not really the point that some of the folks are making. Hunting is constantly chasing the unknown, the monster that is not on camera, or the monster that happens to be nocturnal. I would never hunt a animal like this for the reason as i do not want to spoil my expectaions or passion for the deer that I do hunt. I hope this guy sells the hunt for $500,000 and makes a ton of money. just not my money!!

No alot of guys are saying its the ugliest deer they've ever seen, or grotesque. I'm. It going to pay a dime to hunt a deer in that situation, but its not the deers fault. It's a hell of a deer...

I don't even know how he keeps his head up with that much horn weight.

Do you cut the horns off to prevent poaching?

They look almost like moose antlers

These giant deer are usually in breeding pens so they cut the horns off so (1) they do not injure one another, and (2) the weight of the antlers can actually injure the deer. I do not think poaching is an issue where these deer are kept. I read about one deer with close to 500" of antler that got spooked and ran into a fence and ended up killing himself.

I'm happy for the owner of this deer and happy for the hunter that takes it, however it is just not my cup of tea.
