Found these today. Pictures are the way they were laying when I found the sets together.   The other sets I found each side in a different location. Here is todays haul. Left side (4) are old sheds.   This deer is 1 of the 3 I was after this year. Never laid eyes on him. Not sure what killed him. He was 6.5 according to his jaw. This one hurts a little. Scored him tonight at 144 7/8.   This is him on trail cam.

Hate to see you lost that nice 8 with the sticker. Great find though. Never have figured out how to be good at shed hunting. I just walk fence lines hoping for something.

Cover cover cover. They bed on the S part of hills to get out of the strong North winds. Look for bedding areas.
Deer trails and fence lines but I rarely find them on fencelines. Maybe 1-3 a year.

I agree, I actually have a soft spot in my heart for a bruiser 8pt for some reason! Can't say maturity makes my decision, because I'm just not shooting a 120in 8pt even if he's 10yrs old!

That's awesome. I've never in my whole life found that many sheds combined. Of course I don't like fighting the rattlesnakes for em either. Seems like all the bedding areas on our lease have terribly small trails to get to them and I always find myself with splinters and cuts and snake encounters, so i just give up and go drink beer...

Sounds good Jeremy. Still lots of bucks carrying and a ranch I havent even walked yet thats 4.5 sections on the creek.

The main ranch I hunt is 12 sections. I walked probably 2-3 sections all on the creek with big trees and great bedding areas.
