We're on the Baylor and Throckmorton county line and from what we saw last weekend it's still the small young bucks doing a little chasing, but the Does didn't really want to have anything to do with them. Hopefully this weekend will better.

Houston, just got back from a Sun & Mon hunt. I think it's peaked for us. Most bucks we saw were with does and they weren't coming too far out of the woods. Skunked again! My buddy got some cool video of some young bucks and does chasing along with a nice management 8, think he's going to clean it up and post it here.

What's the rut?
We saw some good ruts that some boys from down south left on our access road to our ag field.
"Wish you guys would start parking on the county road and walk in!" "We gotta be able to get to our fields!"
why don't you stop screwing around on the forum and call somebody back
I deleted your number, but don't you and that other big house have the same number?

Throckmorton & Stephens county line. Some of the young bucks are flirting around but I have pictures of bucks feeding together up until 11/15. Should be kicking off in the next week or two.

Dewitt Co.
Saw some bucks that are in the early rut, and all alone.
It's on, but it's not the peak, but it's close!

trinity county, seen small bucks chasing does the last 2 weekends. Scrape activity has been at a low this year compared to last. small bucks are by themselves. Not seen any large bucks, hold up in the east texas thickets.

LaSalle county still some weeks away, and bucks have been hanging together, so I'm done in Dewitt county where the bucks have already started.
Going to concentrate my efforts on those south Texas brush country bucks for December.

Colorado County. They say it was the last week of bow and the first week of rifle. I have not seen anything. I was working at the lease the last three weekends of bow getting ready for opening weekend and saw very little activity. I hunted last weekend and again saw very little activity. I really just do not know what to think.

Alot of people seem to dissagree with me, but the rut is over for us! They peaked around the first weekend of rifle season!
Maybe the deer on my lease are retarded.......or maybe some people dont know what "The Rut" actually looks like!
I think you have retarded deer!!!!
