Just wanted to share my experience of my recent hunt out at Hog Heaven Hunts. First off, during planning my trip Jason was always very quick to respond to PMs and answer any questions I had. My dad and brother wanted to do some hog hunting while my family was here visiting me. We met Jason at the gate of the ranch and he had us follow him in to the base camp area. The ranch was beautiful. As soon as we got set in, Jason drove us out to the blinds. On the first hunt my dad got a nice javelina with his bow and my brother got a rabbit with his lol. These were both their first harvests hunting and was awesome they both got something. We didnt see any hogs out while we were there but it was definitely not from lack of effort on Jason's part. We did see tons of deer out there and lots of Javelina and coyotes. We all had a great time out there and are planning another trip out there. Jason was an awesome guide and very friendly. He did everything he could to get us on some hogs and even took us driving around the ranch between hunts to look for hogs and he tried calling in some coyotes for us. I would definifely recommend booking with him to anyone. Great prices at a beautiful ranch and we all felt like we were just out camping and hunting with one of our friends with Jason. Can't think of one negative thing about our experience. Hog Heaven Hunts is definitely worth checking out.

Plan on making it out there after the first of the year with some new toys I picked up. Always have a good time out there with Jason at that great ranch.

Good to hear good reviews after some that have shown up lately.

A lot of people base success of the hunt on kills. Wish more people would look at the bigger picture. Its not just about kills, thats a bonus. The overall experiance is what makes a successful hunt in my opinion. Good review.

Yes, Jason is a good guy! I went their with the wife and kids and had an awesome time camping and hanging out at camp. He did work very hard on getting us on some hogs and we did see some coyotes, My son was able to get a hog early in the morning.......and he still talks about that night scope and his kill he made with it. Memories were made in Freer , TX on this trip. Looking forward to getting back soon.

I had a great hunt with Jason as well! Agree with the review, it's just like you were hunting and camping with one of your friends. I'll go back!

Myself and 3 friends went and hunted with Jason for hogs last month (Dec.) We went for a one day/night hog hunt. From the moment we set foot on the ranch Jason was friendly and made every effort to ensure a successful hunt for us. It is a beautiful property with large fairly new blinds. The blind I was in was the best blind I have ever been in on any hunt, guided or not. Imagine stepping through a blind door to see a reclining sofa, TV, blankets, cots, a stove, and anything else you can imagine. Then imagine getting a text from the guide letting you know that there was a bottle of CROWN and shot glasses in the blind for your use as well. up

We hunted until dark and then Jason corned the roads for some more hunting. We stood around the fire to get warm, ate a bite and then Jason pulled out his NV equipped AR and took us around for several hours trying to get us on the hogs. Sadly, we did not get any, but one of our group did get a couple Javelina the next morning.

To top it off, Jason invited the rest of us back for free to make up for the lack of opportunities on this hunt, and encouraged us to bring our kids to make a memorable weekend of it.

We will definitely be taking Jason up on his generous offer, and I can see my son getting his first deer off this property( which we did see lots of but weren't hunting for)

I highly recommend Jason and Hog Heaven Hunts.

I went hunting with Jason Saturday night.

My view from the blind. Thick Thick Brush!!

The blinds are real nice. They have power to charge a cell phone or run laptop. Motion detectors at both feeders.

Shot this boar a short while after dark. He dropped right where I shot him. Kicked up a storm. I was going to put a second round in him. But he got up and charged into the brush. He ran thru the thick brush and made a bunch of noise. He didnt run far and noise stopped. Jason is pretty good tracker. Got us within a 100 yards and I heard the hog breathing. We crawled half the time just to get thru. We found the hog and he was still standing lol.. We were like 20 feet from him. we wired on 3 with 45's and he dropped lol Big boar close to 200 pounds.

Used my M&P 15 and pulsar N550. I may have to sell N550 I had a look thru Jasons N750. Nice scope I want one.

His Bronco is a beast. Drove thru 6 foot brush like a bulldozer lol

Thanks for the kind words Sean! It was a hell of a time! Also thank you kindly for the fun time of my first real predator type hunt that evening. It was awesome! I only have one picture of the cat but not really fit for the net lol.

Lol we should have indeed. Upon further investigation I find I had dislodged his head from his spine, don't think there could have been a more ethical shot lol

Well took a group out last weekend and we were successful. Was working on my birthday but the hunt for one guy was rewarding enough in itself for a great birthday present. Check out the facebook or website!
