Thanks guys! I see that big rascal coming across that hay meadow about 10-12 times a day and productivity grinds to a crawl. Do you think its asking too much to try and incorporate him into our Christmas cards?? Photoshop??

Nope, still no work can be done until jshouse shoots the buck that's been taunting him. why i gotta be brought into this? i've just been pullin yalls leg anyway, i found all those pics on the internet, aint no deer on my place, i'm just a squirrel hunter.
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

at the ranch manager's house? That's where he belongs! Heck, it looks like "The Hall of Horns" in their living room even now! Ol' Ranch Manager is poison on whitetails!

I have no deer for my Christmas card.. no visual evidence the old 8 is still alive & kickin'. It was a good 4yr run looking for him.

What a dandy!!! Great patience you showed, not rushing a poor shot. Very nice Thanks for the compliment, re: "great patience". That hasn't always been the case with me. I'm just one year removed from a self imposed moritorum that had lasted since the 2008 season because of a FUBAR that happened in 2007. Patience is a work in progress for me.

I missed this when it was posted last year, congrats again! Is he at the "ranch manager's" house now? If so I'd like to swing by next weekend for a looksee.

Yep, he's hanging in the hall of horns. I live in Sugar Land, and couldn't justify bringing him back to the city.
