This is a very regular topic and I am just amazed at what some folks are carrying on their person daily. I guess I am just sheltered by living in N.E. TX. We are still pretty laid back around here.

Everybody replying to these topics are ready for a serious gunfight. And most of the replies are from DFW. I guess all it takes is turning on the DFW news to understand.

And this reply takes the cake. Two full mags for a G17 for ""personal"" protection, daayuuum.

I owned 1 40cal Sig P229 for a short time and sold it to a THF member. Not much into compact 40cal. 226 in 40 is fine as is a 357Sig.

9mm and practice placing the proper bullet where it should go.

Taurus PT740. Haven't had any problems with her and if she ever has to get confiscated I'm only out of pocket $350. Small, slim, comparable to the ruger lc9 in size
