Thanks, sorry for all the pics. Last year when I took my red stag we had a uh "operator malfunction" and I didn't get any photos of my stag. This time We had 3 cameras and operators so no problems with missing photos again

Good luck with your Axis hunt, post up pics and a report! Don is good people, you'll enjoy the hunt and his company. I talked his head off as we drove around the ranch. I will be back myself before too long.

Very good price for the Axis buck. Buck like this would cost twice as much on most any other ranch. Nice Persian Ibex as well

That's a real good lookin' Axis buck. Congrats!

When he was young, I told Dale Jr. that hunting and racing are a lot alike. Holding that steering wheel and holding that rifle both mean you better be responsible.

I don't know, I have never tried to sell one. I have sold a few whitetail and mule deer capes for shoulder mounts, but that was years ago. Axis do have beautiful hides.

I can't hardly believe you still have any left. People aren't going to find 28-30" or better axis for $750 anywhere else that I know of.

Hell if they are still there when I come for white tail I may be tempted for another axis if I don't take a white tail buck.

Thanks HuntersAxis, She made a good shot through some really thick cedar. Her, her husband and little girl were very enjoyable to hunt. I still have a couple of good axis left.

He was just getting ready to come out of velvet. I really do not want to try to take any with a bow. They are very wild and rarely can you get closer than 100 yards. We have a couple of feeders but the axis hardly ever come to them. Thanks Donald See you in a few weeks Earl.

Very nice, congratulations. I'm hoping I can contact you sometime in the next few months for an Axis hunt.

Thats a shame, I would have liked to come and hunted one. Guess I will have to have the one Axis that I shot back in July WITH MY BOW at 32 yards as the only one on my wall.

We had a great time with Don. He has a good operation at a great price. I would not hesitate to return and hunt with him again. There are bigger axis than the one my wife shot on his ranch.
