Hope these turn out to be some good boots. Found them on ebay at less than half price of new, waterproof, steel-toe, vibram soled boots. New in box with tags. Most stuff on ebay is either over-priced or junk, but these appear to be the real deal. I was the only bidder. Suppose most people don't think of buying snake boots in the winter(thankfully - no bid competition). smile

You did good on those. You will enjoy wearing them. I wore mine 365 days a year and usually got 11-12 months out of a pair.

I got a pair at Christmas and love them. I also noticed they were quieter on the gravel roads at our lease than my el-cheapo Wolverine boots.

Thanks,
Rich

You will love them! I had always wanted a pair but never could afford them. This past Christmas my Dad bought me some and although I havent had the chance to wear them a whole lot I can tell they are on a whole new level when it comes to quality.

Untill this pair I have always owned Rocky snake boots. Had pretty good luck with them until recently. Now I dont ever see myself going back to Rocky.

Same here. My Rocky slip ons are just as quiet on the gravel as these but my Rocky lace ups sound like a truck coming down the road when I walk.

I got the exact same ones for Christmas. I love 'em so far, very comfy.

Just been wearing them around the house to get them broke in so far. Can't wait to get out to the ranch and REALLY break them in!

Been wearing mine for 2 years now. Haven't tested them on a snake but they are comfortable for sure. My next pair will be Cheppewa for sure.

X2 I've had mine for 4 years....just wear them hunting in the fall. Got the zip up ones and I wish they sold the round toe with zippers.

Just so you boys know they have them at the Justin Boot Outlet in downtown Ft. Worth. They were Chippewa's.

I like the looks of those, kind of a work/snake boot hybrid. My existing snake boots are on their 4th season (bass pro). They've been good boots and are as comfortable as tennis shoes but I'd like to have steel toes for around the ranch. Smashed my foot with a T-post driver this year, it hurt.

There is a reason a good majority of Game Wardens wear Chippewa. I do too, great boots.
