Anyone heard of anything new for 2013?

Ruger has a bunch of scout type rifles in about 10-13 chamberings, and they come with a muzzle break.

Ruger #1 is now only in 4 calibers.

Remington has a 783 new rifle. Looks like crap and is cheap.

Looks like SIG has scorpion treatments for a bunch of their pistols. And a AR 308.

Anyone else seen or heard about anything else really cool?

That new caliber; what is it, .17 Winchester Magnum? It sounds kinda cool, but a unique round in a world of boutique calibers is gonna have a hard time making inroads.

I would love to see a Mossberg MVP in 300 Blk, but I have seen nothing regarding this possibility.

Remington 700 short action in 300 BLK would be an easy build.

Remington SPS 700 Short at Walmart or a 2nd hand gun in 223. $300-550
16 inch 1 in 8 custom barrel $350
Reamer and go/no go gauges $120
I'd do a PG&W bolt replacement $250
I'd do a new trigger $150-250
Manners stock $750
CDI bottom metal $250
PMAG $25
------------------ frown gets expsensive quick frown

Cerakote $250
Lathe work if you are not a gunsmith $550

Ok, so you can probably find a new AR for less than $3000.

Shot Show kicks off this weekend I think. Guns and Ammo should have some new stuff on their website this week.
